The Stanford Cardinal are looking to rebound from a devastating loss to the Southern Cal Trojans last week and will get the chance to do so when they host the Army Black Knights on Saturday evening.

The Cardinal seemingly outplayed the Trojans in nearly every way possible – they out-gained them 413 yards to 291 but couldn’t capitalize when they needed to. The Cardinal drove inside the Trojans’ 30-yard line eight times but came away with just two scores in a 13-10 loss. They will obviously be using Saturday’s game to try to correct some of those problems and limit their mistakes – they turned the ball over twice, committed eight penalties and missed a pair of field goals.
Army started the season 1-0 with a 47-39 victory over the Buffalo Bulls last week.
The Cardinal are 29-point favorites and the over/under is 53.
