The No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs are back in action after being idle last weekend and open SEC play against the South Carolina Gamecocks in Williams-Brice Stadium where Steve Spurrier’s team had their 18-game home winning streak snapped two weeks ago against Texas A&M.

More from College Football

Todd Gurley should be fresh and ready to run against the Gamecock defense that has not looked as dominant this year as they have in the past as he looks to maintain his status as one of the Heisman Trophy favorites. Gurley ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns and added a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown as he set a school record with 293 all-purpose yards.

The rain in the forecast will only increase his carries as well as Mike Davis from South Carolina who got back on track with 101 yards and two touchdowns on the ground after injury slowed him in the opener. Quarterback will have to throw the football to win and Dylan Thompson will see a strong pass rush from the Bulldogs’ front seven.

Who do you think gets the win in this one? Will the Gamecocks No. 113 scoring defense do enough to slow down Gurley and the Georgia offense and can Davis keep pace with the Heisman candidate? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
