The biggest game in the SEC this weekend will have to wait a little bit longer as the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks are in a weather delay in Columbia, S.C. and the start of the game has been pushed back until the lightning and rain subside.

Thunderstorms are expected through midnight and each time lightning strikes the game is delayed an additional 30 minutes. The last strike occurred at 3:20 p.m. ET.
So fans in attendance and those waiting to watch the game on television will have to be patient.

When the game does begin, the weather is sure to play a factor as both teams could rely even more on their workhorse running backs with field conditions making this SEC east game decided in the trenches.
Todd Gurley for Georgia and Mike Davis are sure to get a heavy workload on the day and the team with the best play from the offensive line could be the deciding factor is both teams are neutralized in the passing game.
