The Oakland Raiders may have a famous visitor to the famous “Black Hole” section in the south end zone when the team has their home opener on Sunday.

Oakland quarterback Derek Carr told ESPN’s Bill Williamson that his older brother and former No. 1 overall pick of the Houston Texans, David Carr, is going to dress up with a mask and all and sit with the fans.
“My brother said he’s going and sitting in the Black Hole, all dressed up,” Oakland rookie quarterback Derek Carr said.
It would be no surprise to see the older brother in attendance supporting his younger brother, but it would be pretty awesome if he donned the face paint, masks and crazy (in a good way) outfits for the game against his former team.
“He has been sending me all kinds of pictures of different masks he might wear,” Derek said. “It’s pretty funny.”
Hopefully David will be in attendance and the camera can spot in in the Black Hole and that moment can live on forever with some screenshots and video, but Derek is not quite convinced his older brother is going to do through with it.
“I don’t know, he might,” Derek said. “I don’t think he wants to go to the game and have everyone see him. It’s California. Everybody will notice him.”
Carr won the Raiders starting job with a strong preseason to supplant veteran Matt Schaub on the depth chart. Schaub was acquired in an offseason trade with the intention of starting this season and grooming a young quarterback on the bench but the combination of Carr’s strong play and Schaub’s less than spectacular play resulted in Carr winning the job.
He threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s regular season opener when he completed 2-of-32 pass attempts in the 14-19 loss to the New York Jets.
Sounds like he needs some moral support form older brother in the Black Hole.
