Cheap shot given to Dallas Cowboys’ Lance Dunbar via Tennessee Titans player (GIF)

You know as a professional football player, when you tread into enemy territory, you’re not going to get much help.

In fact, you probably won’t get any help at all. But a cheap shot? You’d like to think such would be avoided, though Dallas Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar can attest that wasn’t the case.
After a solid run, Dunbar was pushed out of bounds and onto the Tennessee Titans sideline. A few members of the Titans, in their attempts to get out of the way, did seemingly attempt to assist Lance Dunbar in slowing down. Another Titans player, who was in street clothes decided to do the same. Except that before he was done, he decided to give the Dallas Cowboys running back a nice shove in the head.
It all went down in rather strange fashion here.
The one-handed man put his other arm on the back of Dunbar in effort to keep the two from crashing, which didn’t seem to be a problem. However, a last minute shove into the back of the helmet was obviously not needed and clearly upset Lance Dunbar.
Thankfully the Dallas Cowboys running back was able to think before he acted and didn’t retaliate, though in fairness nobody would have thrown a fit had he done so. That was clearly not needed on behalf of that Titans player and it’s obvious the extra shove was on purpose.
On the flip side, pretty ballsy of that guy to start some shenanigans with one arm at his disposal.
