It seems like the Browns will have to do the same thing come Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens if it wants to push its record to 2-1.
Browns coach Mike Pettine said Monday that it’s unlikely Tate is ready to go for the team’s next game versus Joe Flacco and Co..
#browns Pettine said Ben Tate prob won't be back for ravens but not sure about cameron and Mingo. Will know more Wednesday.

The timetable on Tate’s sprained knee (suffered in Week 1) was originally placed at 2-4 weeks, so it’s not a surprise that Tate probably won’t play against Baltimore.
The Browns have a bye in Week 4, so a Week 5 return would appear to be most likely.
#browns Tate (knee brace) said the bye week after game three "comes at a good time."

Without Tate, Cleveland received great rushing performances from Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell in Week 2. West rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in the 26-24 win. He also caught two passes for 22 yards. Crowell had 11 carries for 54 yards and a three-yard reception.
The Ravens have held opponents to 89 rushing yards per game this season, so West and Crowell have a tougher task in Week 3.
Tate rushed for 41 yards on six carries before his injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
