Corey Graham calls Buffalo Bills crowd ‘amazing’
By Cory Buck
The Buffalo Bills celebrated their home opener like few others can, thanks to one of the loudest crowds formed this century at Ralph Wilson Stadium. On the heels of news that the team would be sold to Kim and Terry Pegula, who will keep the team in Buffalo long-term, the Ralph was a frenzied scene that saw tickets in small-market Buffalo skyrocket to among the highest prices in the league on the secondary market. Offseason acquisition Corey Graham, a lifelong Bills fan, lauded the crowd for its role in the team’s 29-10 victory over the visiting Miami Dolphins.

“We played for them, and we played with them. It was just an amazing, amazing day,” Graham said per The Buffalo News. “It was beyond what I expected. The fans were so amazing today. I felt the energy the whole day today. It never let up. It was unbelievable. I never in a million years dreamed it would be that special.”
It was a perfect storm for Buffalo. The sale of the team, the home opener being played against the team’s biggest historic rival, and the Bills’ surprising Week 1 victory against the Chicago Bears all served to add up to a juiced crowd that kept the energy high for a rabid defense to completely shut down Miami’s offense.
Graham continued, “We’ve got to keep getting better and better every week and give them something to cheer about. I’m pretty sure they’ll go crazy. They were loud. It was exciting. It was fun.”
