Former NFL quarterback and current CBS broadcaster Phil Simms doesn’t like the Denver Broncos. Or at least, that’s the vibe he gives off.

The reason behind Simms’ alleged distaste of the Mile High franchise isn’t really known, though listening to Phil Simms during a Denver Broncos broadcast, it’s pretty clear he’s not much of a fan.
Tired of listening to his berating, a collection of Broncos fans have decided to launch a petition in hopes of getting the former New York Giants broadcaster banned from calling Broncos games.
"Petition byThe People Of DenverWe do not know why he is assigned to the Broncos games every year. It is sure and complete torture for Bronco Fans to have to listen to his biased drivel every week. Please sign this petition so our voice can be heard. We are tired of Phil Simms in Denver!"
Shockingly, the petition is gaining significant momentum as currently there are over 6,000 signatures and the original goal was to only nab about 5,000.
So what’s next? Well, that remains to be seen. No matter how many signatures the petition is likely to gather, the idea of CBS pulling Phil Simms from any broadcast in Denver is not going to happen. That’s really bad news for the fans hoping to get him banned considering the Denver Broncos are routinely featured in CBS’ nationally broadcast game which Simms and partner Jim Nantz will cover.
On the positive side, the voice of the fans was heard though it’s not going to be loud enough for CBS to do anything about it.
