If you were asked to name the two remaining unrestricted free agents in the NBA, could you do it? Eric Bledsoe of the Phoenix Suns would be the easy answer, but what about the second? It’s no longer Greg Monroe but rather Aron Baynes of the San Antonio Spurs.

Baynes isn’t exactly a star in the making, though the big man did put up some impressive numbers during the FIBA World Cup for Australia and understandably has intrigued some teams.
One team apparently not interested in keeping Aron Baynes around are the San Antonio Spurs who are reportedly open to sign-and-trade scenarios for the 27-year-old center. That’s the word from Yahoo’s Marc J. Spears who says the Spurs are open to a move.
Why the Spurs aren’t interested in keeping him around is a little perplexing considering big men don’t exactly come cheaply these days, though it’s possible they could be attempting to capitalize off his strong tournament play. It’s also possible the San Antonio Spurs are attempting to clear money for a free agent signing.
If that is the case, who is likely to show interest in Aron Baynes? That’s not something well known at this point considering Baynes isn’t exactly attracting much currently, though the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers are said to be seeking a bench big man.
