The Florida State Seminoles entered the season as the favorites to win the first National Title of the College Football Playoff era after winning the final National Championship in the BCS era.

After what many called a couple of shaky performances in a 37-31 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys and a 37-12 victory over The Citadel, they saw their odds go down and after a bye week, they saw it happen once again.
The Alabama Crimson Tide held serve with 7/1 odds while the Oregon Ducks, Oklahoma Sooners and Auburn Tigers all saw their odds increase.
