Jabari Parker more of a star than Andrew Wiggins?
By Bryan Rose
When Jabari Parker fell past the Cleveland Cavaliers (owners of the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft) to the Milwaukee Bucks who owned the second selection, the franchise couldn’t have been more thrilled.

A camera inside the Bucks’ war room showed the front office celebrating as they knew they’d be able to draft Parker with Wiggins off the table. Why they were excited to select Jabari Parker was understandable since the Duke product looks like an incredible talent, though will he be more productive than Andrew Wiggins at the NBA level?
Many have questioned the desire of Wiggins (who was shockingly traded by the Cavaliers to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Kevin Love) and his willingness to be a franchise star. That sentiment is shared by Nate Duncan of Basketball Insiders who thinks Jabari Parker will be the better professional player between the two.
"Wiggins has the athleticism to be a great player and make me look bad. But he doesn’t have the skill level and feel, and while he could develop it that is not a sure thing. I think Parker is more likely to get there."
Considering neither player has played a professional NBA game at this point, it’s really difficult to suggest one will be better than the other. Still, there are a lot of questions surrounding Andrew Wiggins while very few have been brought up regarding the play and mental fortitude of Jabari Parker.
