There has been a lot of speculation the Milwaukee Bucks could look to deal power forward Ersan Ilyasova but nothing has come of it yet.

More from Milwaukee Bucks

If the Bucks don’t deal Ilyasova, Nate Duncan of Basketball Insiders believes he can still be a very solid player.

"I don’t think Marshall will necessarily be a major piece or someone they should worry about playing unless he earns it. Ilyasova can still be a quality player if he can get past some of the injuries that dogged him last year. But yeah, the rest of those guys shouldn’t be getting minutes at the expense of the younger guys."

If the Bucks do continue their youth movement and decide to trade Ilyasova, the Houston Rockets seem like a good fit. When Dwight Howard as with the Orlando Magic, their offense was at their best when they had a power forward that could knock down three-pointers and stretch the defense.

Ilyasova averaged 11.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 40.9% from the field, 28.2% from beyond the arc and 82.3% from the free throw line last season. In his six-year NBA career, the 36th-overall pick in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft, has put up 10.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 44.3% from the floor, 36.6% from three and 79.3% from the foul line.
