The Adrian Peterson saga continues, and it is seemingly getting stranger and more convoluted every hour that goes by. Peterson, the All-Pro running back for the Minnesota Vikings, is currently on the NFL’s commissioner exempt list where he will not be able to join the Vikings team until his legal woes regarding the alleged abuse of his child is concluded.

Shortly after being placed on the exempt list, the Minnesota Vikings admitted they made a mistake in reinstating Peterson before the legal process plays out, and Nike suspended their endorsement deal with the Pro Bowler.
The latest news regarding Peterson is coming from his high school football coach, Booker Bowie, who admitted today that he used to beat Peterson with an 18-inch long wooden paddle if the star athlete behaved poorly. As if that is not strange enough, Peterson allegedly thanked Bowie for corporal punishment.
