By Bryan Rose
The black eye currently being worn by the NFL continues to grow as today there have been new accusations levied against the league, this time in regards to current Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

Celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred had previously stated she planned to pursue action and justice for alleged victims of domestic violence from those in the NFL. Today she did just that, taking a swipe at the NFL, suggesting commissioner Roger Goodell did not respond to allegations that Marshall (formerly of the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins) had allegedly attacked his former girlfriend Rasheedah Watley.
Brandon Marshall is of course no stranger to domestic violence accusations though has routinely denied ever abusing Watley in 2009.
Oddly appearing with Allred was not Watley, rather her friend and former roommate Kristeena Spivey who accused the Chicago Bears wide receiver of harming Rasheedah Watley.
"Celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred started the press conference ripping into the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell, with charges that he ignored complaints filed regarding Brandon Marshall."
While Allred has a very solid reputation as a lawyer, she’s also known to take on cases just like this in effort to gain free publicity. Given that, it’s difficult to know just how truthful and serious these allegations against Brandon Marshall and the NFL are, especially since they’re coming from a ‘friend’ of Watley and not Rasheedah herself.
