Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush is clearly regretting comments he made about disciplining his 1-year old daughter on WFAN Tuesday. People clearly blew Bush’s comments out of proportion after talking about the Adrian Peterson situation after he was indicted for child abuse charges.

In an interview with WXYZ’s Brad Galli in Detroit Wednesday, Bush explained his comments, reassuring people that he was talking about when his daughter is older and not right now.

Bush also told Galli that he regretted answering those questions.

The media clearly looking to get any athlete in trouble in wake of the Ray Rice and Peterson scandals, and they went at Reggie Bush Tuesday, hopefully athletes will learn to not get caught up in the talk.
