While White is questionable, yesterday head coach Mike Smith said he wasn’t too concerned with the injury, to ESPN.com, after White missed practice Tuesday.
White’s hot start is reason the Falcons want to make sure he can play Thursday. In two games, he’s caught 10 passes for 114 yards and one touchdown.
While White is questionable, the Falcons have reported that first round pick, offensive tackle Jake Matthews is expected to play Thursday after missing week two on a precaution measure because the team had such a quick turnaround for Week 3. The Falcons are keeping Matthews fresh for an important divisional matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Don’t forget that the hamstring wasn’t the most notable thing for Roddy White Sunday when he almost tried to maybe punch a guy.
The Falcons have one of the healthiest teams in the NFL right now, and hope to have star wideout ready to be a big target for Matt Ryan Thursday.
