The Atlanta Falcons have tied a franchise record on Thursday Night Football thanks to their 35-0 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have tied their largest halftime lead in franchise history with the dominant performance which also came against the Buccaneers.

During the first half, Atlanta punt return Devin Hester also set a NFL record with the 20th return touchdown of his career.

While the record performances can be great, watching a 35-0 blowout through two quarters can be excruciating.

What would make watching an awful game even worse?

No alcohol.

Unfortunately for the fans in attendance at the Georgia Dome, it was announced that alcohol will stop being sold during the intermission.

Those poor souls.

While it makes sense to have as few rowdy drunken fans as possible, it is unfortunate for those who do drink responsibly.

For whoever did stay, best of luck.
