The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are trying to get their first win of the season but they’re going to have to try and do it against an Atlanta Falcons team still trying to figure out what they want to be this season.

They’re also going to have to get the job done without a pair of big pieces on either side of the ball. Last weekend the Buccaneers were without tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins and the quick turnaround from Sunday’s loss to the St. Louis Rams and tonight’s game against the Falcons hasn’t given the rookie enough time to heal.

According to Roy Cummings from the Tampa Bay Times, both Seferian-Jenkins and linebacker Mason Foster will be out for tonight’s game against the Falcons.

This is yet another set back the team has suffered as the Bucs are 0-2, can’t seem to get out of this funk they’ve been in since about 2003 after their Super Bowl win and the woes seem to come on a week-to-week basis.

Losing Seferian-Jenkins and Foster isn’t a death sentence by any means but it makes the job for the Bucs that much harder when the chips are already stacked against them.
