The Buccaneers are expected to be without star defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and running back Doug Martin for the game, so it could be a long night for the Tampa Bay fans but a happy one for those in attendance at the Georgia Dome.
Atlanta suffered a setback at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals last week following a big win over the New Orleans Saints in the season opener, while the Buccaneers have yet to secure a win.
Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown understands that is something that will need to change in order for him to gain respect as a signal-caller.
“At the end of the day, you hear about quarterbacks being measured by wins and we’re 0-2 so for me that’s how I evaluate it,” McCown said, via ESPN.com. “I look at what could I have done better to help us win the ballgame. I look at it for both games, I really felt like I did a lot of good things except for three turnovers in those games and those have been critical.”
