It didn’t take long for the Atlanta Falcons to wipe away the memory of their Week 2 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

In the opening quarter in Thursday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is off to a blazing start, hitting wide receiver Julio Jones in the back of the end zone for his second touchdown of the game.

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have failed to impress much this season, seeing Matt Ryan bounce back from last weeks catastrophe is an excellent sign for the Falcons and his fantasy owners. So far, Ryan is 11-of-12 on pass attempts with 127 passing yards and a perfect quarterback rating of 150.3.

Of those 10 passes, stud receiver Julio Jones has received the bulk of them with five receptions totaling for 73 yards and a touchdown. With Roddy White out, there’s a bigger emphasis on Jones, but so far the Bucs seem to have nothing in their plans to contain him. Harry Douglas is the recipient of Ryan’s other touchdown.

Because of a pick-6 following Ryan’s touchdown, the Falcons hold a 21-0 lead over the Bucs in the first quarter.
