Foster was limited during Wednesday and Thursday’s practices and those limitations continued into Friday’s practice raising doubts about the leading rusher in the AFC for Sunday as Bill O’Brien and the Texans look to improve to 3-0 and surpass last season’s win total.
With 241 yards on 55 carries through two games this season, Foster has been terrific in the early part of the season, giving confidence to his fit in the new offense and allaying and concerns about any previous injuries.
However, with Foster questionable with his hamstring injury, the Texans’ efforts to improve to 3-0 could hinge on the efforts of Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes and Ronnie Brown who would be the team’s running backs if Foster is unable to suit up or even if he needs to be spelled if he plays through the injury vs. the Giants.
