The Michigan State Spartans are back on the football field after they were idle last week after going out to Eugene, Oregon and losing to the Oregon Ducks after they led a second half lead dissolve against the high-powered offensive attack of Marcus Mariota and the Ducks.

Connor Cook, Jeremy Langford and the rest of the Spartans should be well-rested and champing at the bit to get back on the gridiron and get back in the win column and put on a show in front of the fans that will cheer them on in Spartan Stadium today against Eastern Michigan.
The Eagles enter today’s game with a 1-2 record and have been outscored 82-3 in their last two games, both defeats, after beating Morgan State in their opener.
