The Utah Utes were a sneaky pick to pull off the upset this weekend as they traveled to Ann Arbor to take Devin Gardner, Devin Funchess and the Michigan Wolverines in the Big House.

Michigan started the scoring with a field goal on their first series with jumbo wide receiver Funchess the primary target of Gardner with three receptions for 57 yards, including a long of 24 yards for the Wolverines.

However, Gardner may have to look to some of his other options after the Utes defense has been locked in on the security blanket for Gardner because Funchess took a nasty hit to the midsection from Donovan Isom.

Could that hit shake up Funchess for the rest of the game? We will have to see the next time he goes over the middle and if he appears tentative or short-arms any passes headed his way.
