Virginia Tech had a 16-10 lead in the fourth quarter, but then quarterback Michael Brewer threw off his back foot and late over the middle, which is two cardinal sins for a quarterback and Paul Davis came up with the interception and raced back to the end zone untouched for a 41-yard touchdown.
The pick-six gave the Yellow Jackets a 17-16 lead at the 11:22 mark in the fourth quarter.

Brewer has solid numbers with the exception of the interception and is currently 27-of-26 passing for 301 yards, although he did throw another interception and has yet to throw for a score yet today.
