After falling behind the Indianapolis Colts 30-0, it seemed like they might hit a new low.
That was until Chad Henne was injured and the Jaguars had to turn to rookie Blake Bortles, the third-overall pick of last year’s draft.
Bortles has had his ups and downs, throwing a touchdown and two interceptions, including a pick-six, but the ups may now outweigh the downs after he tossed his second touchdown, doing it with style. Bortles faked a spike a la Dan Mario and hit Cecil Shorts for a 10-yard touchdown with 11 seconds to go.
Bortles finished 14-of-24 for 223 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
