The Denver Broncos insisted that their week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks was not an opportunity to get revenge. They said they were not worried about proving a point after the Seahawks humiliated them in last year’s Super Bowl in blowout fashion.

They said all of that, and yet it is hard to imagine they weren’t at least thinking about it. Having acquitted themselves nicely in a 26-20 overtime loss to the Seahawks, the Broncos have to feel better with the knowledge that they can hang with the defending champs.

One member of the Broncos, defensive back Chris Harris Jr., has no problem looking ahead to this year’s Super Bowl. As a matter of fact, he said specifically that he plans on the Broncos meeting up with the Seahawks again in the Super Bowl.

As passed along by Jeff Legwold of ESPN:

Football players generally deal in cliches after big wins and big losses, especially this early in the regular season. Not so with Harris, who had no problem admitting that he plans on playing in this year’s Super Bowl and that he thinks that the Broncos will see the Seahawks in that game once again.
