Demaryius Thomas makes incredible catch for two-point conversion (GIF)

The Denver Broncos forced overtime in their game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday thanks to an improbable drive down the field with less than one minute to go. That march ended with a Jacob Tamme touchdown, but the Broncos still needed to have a successful two-point conversion with 19 seconds left to force overtime.

For that two-point attempt, Peyton Manning and the Broncos turned to their top wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. Having had a rough game in which he dropped passes, nearly fumbled, and wasn’t even on the stat sheet until the second half, Thomas came through with an incredible play in a huge moment.

This catch is incredible for a couple reasons. For one, Thomas showed elite athleticism to get his feet down. For another thing, he beat top corner Richard Sherman to make the play. In that moment, one of the best wide receivers in the game did a lot to make up for a poor performance otherwise.
