With less than a minute to work with and no timeouts, Manning somehow found the opportunities and made the throws to drive his offense down the field against that vaunted Seattle secondary. The impressive drive ended with a touchdown pass to tight end Jacob Tamme and a two-point conversion to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.
The Seahawks ultimately came out with the win, but before they did, the Seahawks’ official Twitter feed showed its respect for one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time after he put up points on them.
One thing seems clear: these two teams will emerge from their thrilling week 3 game with mutual respect. That is what the team account expressed here.
