On Monday, he found a new deal, inking a deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
Lamb appeared in 53 games for the Magic last season. He averaged 3.6 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game while shooting 39.4% from the field, 40.0% from beyond the arc and 80.6% from beyond the arc. Lamb, who was traded to the Magic from the Milwaukee Bucks in the Tobias Harris-J.J. Redick swap, was selected with the 42nd-overall pick in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. He’s put up 3.5 point, 1.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game while shooting 38.1% from the field, 39.4% from three and 70.0% from the charity stripe in his career.
The Mavericks officially announced the signing on Monday and Tim McMahon of ESPN Dallas reports their no guaranteed money in the deal. The deal also has to be worth minimum money because that’s all the Mavericks have left to offer.
Lamb really hasn’t made much of an impact but could have some value if he can shoot the ball better from the outside.
