The Boston Celtics are hoping to take steps this season to become a better team, but that’s something that is a lot easier said than done. Where there are growing pains to be had though, there are bright spots on the roster heading into the season and that’s something Jeff Green is excited about.

Green has been working on everything in his game to get better, but he’s aware that the pulse of the Celtics lies within another player on the roster – Rajon Rondo. According to CSNNE, Green is not only looking forward to the return of Rajon Rondo, he thinks it’s going to be big for the Celtics.
"“It’s going to be big. He’s the guy that gets us into sets. He’s the guy as you see throughout his career, finds players and puts them in the best spot to succeed. With him being 100 percent healthy, it’ll make our team that much better.”"
Rondo returning will no doubt be big, but the big question surrounding the guard is how long will he return for? There’s injury concern about Rondo but most notably there are talks that he could be moved in a trade before the season is over. That’s not something that Green is thinking about at the moment though as ‘s focused on getting the Celtics back to where they used be sooner rather than later.
