Derek Jeter receives Commissioner’s Historic Achievement Award (Video)

Before the New York Yankees took the field on Tuesday night, Derek Jeter received another bit of recognition as his final season comes to a close.

Commissioner Bud Selig was in attendance, and before the game he gave Jeter the Commissioner’s Historic Achievement Award. What the heck is that, you might ask? Rather ambiguous, is the way you might describe the criteria for an award that is given to somebody who has had a “major impact on the game.”
