If you happened to watch the New England Patriots host the Oakland Raider last Sunday, you probably noticed there was a special guest in the suite of owner Robert Kraft.

No, it wasn’t a hot blonde but rather the man most of us know as Mark Wahlberg, though I still prefer to call him Marky Mark.

The actor and Boston native seemed to be enjoying his time watching his favorite team, so much so that he couldn’t even give Kraft a high five and left the owner hanging. Maybe that’s because he was so hyped up to get down to Bill Belichick and the field?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as if the feeling was shared by Belichick as he and another member of his coaching staff weren’t exactly sure who Mark Wahlberg was at first.

If you missed that, the mic’d up Belichick gave the following response when asked who he was speaking with:

"He was the guy in…uh…f***ing…Lone Survivor."

Shockingly Bill Belichick did structurally name a film Mark Wahlberg stared in, though of all the things one would remember Mark Wahlberg in, Lone Survivor probably wouldn’t top their list. Of course, that just makes it even more typical Bill Belichick.

On the flip side, I’m guessing Mark Wahlberg was beyond stoked somebody didn’t use the term ‘Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’ to describe him.
