There has been speculation that two All-Star (well, one should have been an All-Star) level guards could be available – Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics and Goran Dragic of the Phoenix Suns. Rondo reportedly wants out of Boston (although he has denied it) while many believe Dragic could be expendable now that the Suns have so much money invested in Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe and spent a first round pick on Tyler Ennis.

Almost every team would love to have the other player and the Chicago Bulls are a team that continues to show interest in landing a major player.
Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders doesn’t see the Bulls making a play for either player, especially since they believe Derrick Rose is healthy.
"I can’t see the Bulls giving away significant pieces to acquire Rondo or Dragic, since they already have Derrick Rose. With that said, if a disgruntled star becomes available – similar to how Kevin Love was available this summer – Chicago will definitely be in the mix because they have nice assets and are an attractive destination for players."
The Bulls do have nice assets like power forward Taj Gibson, who could potentially be trade bait because the team signed Pau Gasol. Of course, it would take a big offer for the Bulls to part ways with a talent like Gibson. However, like Kennedy says, a disgruntled star could force them to pull the trigger.
