To say Charlotte Hornets wing player Jeff Taylor is having a bad week may be a bit of an understatement. After being arrested on a charge of domestic violence on Wednesday, it appears Taylor was also arrested on Wednesday night as well.

Yes, that makes it two straight nights of arrests…at least according to a report by WILX. The Lansing, Mich. news station is reporting that jail officials confirmed he was booked in the jail on a separate charge just one night after his arrest for suspected domestic violence.

From WILX:

“Just before 7:30pm Thursday, Taylor was arrested on a malicious destruction of a building charge on the 1100 block of Michigan Ave. in East Lansing.”

On Wednesday Taylor was not only charged with domestic violence, but also received charges of assault and malicious destruction of property. He posted $5,000 in bail just before 1am on Thursday according to reports.

Considering all that has happened in the NFL lately, one has to think athletes of all ilk would be on guard against domestic violence and anger issues in general.

What makes this case strange is no one seems to know why Taylor was even in East Lansing. He was born overseas and played his college basketball at Vanderbilt before starting his career with the then Charlotte Bobcats, turned Hornets.
