Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys are feeling good after two straight wins. The team will get a tougher test in Week 4 though as they host the New Orleans Saints, who had little trouble in shutting down Bryant last year when the Saints routed the Cowboys. Bryant believes this year’s matchup will be different though thanks to a more balanced offense led by the league-leading efforts of running back Demarco Murray.

“I know he’s going to double me,” Bryant said of New Orleans defensive coordinator Rob Ryan per ESPN.com. “I know he is. I’m ready for it.”

Bryant expressed zero concern about this assumption though, citing the running game as a reason Ryan might regret such a game plan. “If they want to keep doubling,” Bryant said, “DeMarco [Murray] will run for 150 or 200 more.”

Such is the 2014 Dallas Cowboys offense, which has built itself anew around the running game thanks to offseason back surgery that has at times slowed down quarterback Tony Romo and the typically high-flying Dallas offense.

Instead of bemoaning his lack of usual touches, Dez Bryant has gone out of his way to laud the new direction of the offense multiple times. If he and the rest of the unit can continue with their new approach, it will be hard for any team to keep them off the scoreboard.
