No, there are no SEC championships to be won or individual accolades on the line, but rather the first time that ESPN’s college football pregame show College Gameday will be coming to Oxford for the Rebels’ October 4 game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
College Gameday producer Lee Fitting tells Paul Finebaum that so long as the Rebels remain undefeated and can knock off the Tigers on Saturday, Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the crew will be headed to The Grove next Saturday.

The Rebels are ranked in the top 10 behind the nation’s No. 14 scoring offense and the No. 3 scoring defense. Memphis is 2-1, but their lone loss came by seven points to the No. 11 UCLA Bruins who are also undefeated and coming off a rout over the Arizona State Sun Devils,
So can the Tigers pull off the upset on Saturday or will the Rebels finally get Gameday to one of the best tailgating venues in the nation?
