Prized five star running back Damien Harris is poised to make his college decision on December 12th when he will choose between Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida and Alabama. First he will finish out his high school senior season at Madison Southern in Kentucky, and he’s putting on a show in his final few games.

Harris rushed for over 300 yards and put up 5 touchdowns — in the first half on Friday night. When the half ended, there was no doubt that Harris was the best player on the field by a mile. He had broken so many long runs that when the defense stopped him for less than 10 yards they were getting flagged for celebrating too much. Harris ran roughshot through that poor high school defense and looked like Herschel Walker doing it.
In the second half Harris cramped up and was held to only 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. Those two touchdowns included a last second touchdown as time ran out to win the game for Madison Southern.
We already knew Harris would be one of the best freshman backs when he enters college next year, but last night he out himself on a different plain in the eyes of coaches and fans alike, and in the process became a high school football legend in his home state of Kentucky.
