Lorenzo Carter was one of the highest-ranked players in the 2014 recruiting class for the Georgia Bulldogs and the former five-star recruit introduced himself to Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Nathan Peterman in a big way on Saturday.

With Peterman playing for the injured Justin Worley who took a hit to his throwing elbow on a hit from Jordan Jenkins in the third quarter and temporarily had to leave the game.

Peterman dropped back and held on to the ball a little too long in the pocket and for some reason unbeknownst to me the Vols inexperienced offensive line failed to pick up Carter who came in untouched and laid Peterman flat on his back.

Peterman got the throw off so it wasn’t a sack for Carter, but he sure did flash his quickness and ability to get to the quarterback on this play in a game that is a lot closer than many would have imagined.

Georgia leads 28-25 midway through the fourth quarter in Athens.

Will the VOls pull the upset of will the Dawgs pull away with the win?
