After showing they weren’t quite ready to become a national player in a 34-10 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners, the Tennessee Volunteers are trying to prove they are a player in the SEC East.

The Volunteers are looking to do just that in Athens against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.
They got off to a great start, taking an early 10-0 lead. However, the Bulldogs scored the game’s next 21 points.
It looked like the Bulldogs may run away with it but the Volunteers struck just before the first half came to an end when Justin Worley found Jason Croom for a 23-yard touchdown with 18 seconds to play.
