Paul Finebaum: Dog Whisperer (Photo)
Can we just get everything out in the open from the get-go? Paul Finebaum’s not exactly…how do I put this? Liked as a national college football pundit. Well, SEC college football pundit. However, I had no idea of one of the many talents he clearly possessed besides the ability to hype up the NFL Lite conference.
Your eyes do not deceive you, ladies and gentlemen! That is Paul Alan (yes his middle name is Alan) Finebaum conversing with not only who I can assume is UGA, mascot of the Georgia Bulldogs, but Smokey of the Tennessee Volunteers’ crew!

Paul Finebaum: Dog Whisperer? Who knew?
Of course, the big question on everyone’s mind is just what did Finebaum have to say to these gentle creatures?
Did he wish the tenth edition of Tennessee’s Bluetick Coonhound the best in his team’s attempt to topple Mark Richt’s Top 15 Bulldogs?
Did he mutter softly about stomping the Rocky Top warriors into the dirt while scratching behind the ear of the English Bulldog owned by attorney Sonny Seiler?
Whatever Finebaum offered the pups from advice to a simple, “Who’s a good puppy? Oh yes, who’s a good puppy? You are! You are!” (because that’s what I would do), it’s certainly a treat for the rest of us to see him interacting with live SEC mascots rather than being one.
