Michigan head coach Brady Hoke opened up the quarterback competition after the Wolverines lost at home to the Utah Utes last weekend and the offense struggling all season, including an embarrassing shutout to Notre Dame Fighting Irish earlier this season.

Morris was a former top recruit and started for an injured Gardner in last year’s Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl loss to the Kansas State Wildcats. The Warren, MI native completed 4-of-13 passed last week in relief of Gardner with 42 yards and an interception in the 26-10 loss. He has two interceptions this season and completed 7-of-20 passes for 79 yards.

How do you think Morris will fare in this game against Minnesota? Will Gardner be back starting before the season’s over?
