The Washington Huskies are hoping to remain undefeated and improve to 5-0 with a big home win against the Stanford Cardinal as Chris Petersen looks for his first signature win as the head coach of the Huskies, and his defense has him in contention.

Shaq Thompson is one of the most versatile players in the nation and has played on both sides of the ball this year for Washington and could conceivably start at a handful of positions for this Washington team.
With touchdowns on both sides of the ball, Thompson added his third defensive touchdown of the year with this 32-yard return of a fumble from Remound Wright to tie the game in the final two minutes of the first half to give the home team some much-needed momentum for the second half.

Thompson, a junior, very likely will declare for the 2015 NFL Draft after this season and should be a first round pick, possibly in the top 15-20 at linebacker. Can Thompson find the end zone again in this game? They may need it with the way the Washington offense has fared against the No. 1 scoring defense of Stanford.
