After 13 seasons together, the Carolina Panthers released wide receiver Steve Smith.

More from Baltimore Ravens

Smith vowed revenge and has already done just that, torching the Panthers for a 61-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.

The Panthers also lost Brandon LaFell to the New England Patriots and Ted Ginn, Jr. to the Arizona Cardinals, meaning they had to find all new starting receivers.

That started in the draft when they used the 28th-overall pick in the first round on the hero of last year’s BCS National Championship Game, former Florida State Seminoles’ receiver Kelvin Benjamin.

During the second quarter, Smith’s replacement got the best of the Ravens, catching a 28-yard touchdown pass from Cam Newton.

You can see Benjamin’s touchdown below.
