Johnson entered Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions with 35 carries for 123 yards and zero touchdowns as the former 2,000-yard rusher looks like a shell of his former self in his first season with the Jets.
The former Tennessee Titans running back showed a blast from the past in the second half of Sunday’s game against the Lions with his longest run of the season — by far — as he broke loose for a 35-yard run that he took the distance for a touchdown.
Johnson has been vocal about his displeasure with the team’s run game and his role in the offense, so will this run be what he needs to get his season jump-started or was this a fluke?
