Enter Matt McGloin, who immediately fumbled the snap from the center. He chased after it like an infant chasing a hamster ball.
Miami’s cornerback Cortland Finnegan, who was blitzing off the corner, came in and scooped up the rock. He took it 50 yards to give the Dolphins a 38-7 lead.
Miami’s defense is dominating the game, holding the Raiders to just 208 yards and forcing three Raiders turnovers. Not to mention the defensive score by Finnegan.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins look like the team they did in Week 1. Ryan Tannehill is having his best game of the season, completing 23 of 31 passes for 278 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Before Carr left the game, he had completed 16 of 25 passes for 145 yards, a touchdown and an interception. So far, McGloin has completed four of six passes for 18 yards and an interception.
