Walker had one of the best catches of the day in week 4 in his team’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. With Colts’ defenders draped all over him, Walker somehow found this football and then held on to complete the catch as he was taken down hard.
Here is the highlight of Walker’s touchdown.
The play was reviewed and upheld as a touchdown.
To be fair to Whitehurst, he the subject of so many jokes and the outstanding nickname “Clipboard Jesus,” he made a nice throw here. The decision-making might be suspect considering how heavy the coverage was on Walker, but Whitehurst put the throw in the one spot where his guy could make a play.
Walker did just that and converted the touchdown, continuing his hot start to the 2014 NFL season.
