Week 5 of the college football season on Saturday was exciting, however it was not expected to be nearly as exciting as Week 6 will be next weekend with some good match ups on deck. Because of this, many were wondering where the folks from ESPN College GameDay would set up shop.

Well after the festivities on Saturday, it is no longer a mystery where the GameDay crew will be. For the first time in the show’s history, they will be headed to the Grove in Oxford, Mississippi for the showdown between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ole Miss Rebels.
The announcement was made official just a short time ago:

This will be one of the biggest match ups in the SEC so far this season and a lot of eyes will be on it as both teams come in with unblemished records.
Ole Miss moved to 4-0 on the season Saturday with their 24-3 win over Memphis. Coming into the season, the Rebels were a sleeper pick among many to win the SEC West, so we’ll find out next week whether this is some validity to that or not.
Alabama did not take the field this week, but they’re coming off a huge win last weekend over the Florida Gators, a win in which they showed some offensive firepower, racking up nearly 700 yards of total offense.
