Geno Smith yelled profanity at New York Jets fan after loss
The 2014 season has not gone according to the plan for the New York Jets and second-year quarterback Geno Smith who had two more turnovers in Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions and afterward let his frustrations get the better of him.

Smith reportedly got in a heated verbal altercation with a fan after the 24-17 loss to the Jets in MetLife Stadium where the home crowd was chanting the name of backup quarterback Michael Vick.
Apparently, Smith controls his emotions about as well as he controls the Jets offense on the field and let an expletive slip in the verbal confrontation with the fan.
This is not a good look for a team who is trying not to lose his grip on the starting job. The last thing he wants to do is lose the support of his city and fan base with immature behavior like this. Despite five interceptions and two lost fumbles and a 1-3 record, it doesn’t look like head coach Rex Ryan is in a rush to bench Smith.
Smith threw for 209 yards on 17-0f-33 passing in the seven-point loss. Do you think he should continue to start of should Vick get a shot?
