The likelihood of the San Diego Chargers getting into a scuffle with opponents is always higher than your average team because of the presence of Philip Rivers. That dude knows how to get under a defense’s skin, so even if he isn’t directly involved when things get chippy, you know that he has been bothering the other team the entire game.

In this case, Rivers was a spectator while the big bruisers up front got after each other. Chargers’ offensive lineman King Dunlap ends up without a helmet, he reacts accordingly, and things escalate from there as they are known to do.

This game was close for a while, with the Jaguars probably wondering for at least a moment if they would be able to put a scare into the Chargers on the road. That was not meant to be, as the Jacksonville defense proved to be as charitable in this game as they have been all season, especially with big plays.
It might be at that point that their frustration boiled over and then fights ensued.
