Ken Whisenhunt says he maybe overestimated Tennessee Titans
By Wes Goldberg
Following three-straight losses, Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt is looking for answers. He didn’t inherit a great team, but things might look worse than he thought they could with the Titans losing the last three games by a total of 100 to 34.

According to ESPN.com’s Paul Kuharsky, Whisenhunt expressed some doubt in the post-game press conference.
"Did they overestimate? Ken Whisenhunt fielded this question from The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt after the game: “I know when you first got this job you said you weren’t necessarily asking for patience. Do you think maybe you overestimated the team that you have?”His answer: “You know, I guess that’s the problem saying those kind of things. You go on a stretch where you have a couple games and you don’t play well and those are the kind of things that, hey, I still believe that, I still believe we have a team that’s good enough, that’s better than what we are playing right now. But we have to look at what we are doing, how we are doing it. We have to look at everything. Maybe. Maybe, Jim.”"
Whisenhunt took some flack on Twitter, but I try not to knock a guy for being honest. In today’s sports media world, it’s a rare thing. The truth is, the Titans have been a mess for while. He didn’t take over a great quarterback situation or much talent across the roster. It’s expected that a new coach would speak confidently of his team, but this is going to be a work in progress.
